My brother and I met with 4 other brokers before we met Jim Shaw. We had an initial meeting on a Monday and Jim came back on Wednesday with his game plan. We liked his approach and signed up with him on that day. On Thursday Jim Shaw called us and said, "that he wanted to show our house "as is, no staging" on Friday to a broker and her client. On Saturday we had an initial offer, but Jim thought we could do better and over the course of a Saturday afternoon in December we received an offer $150,000 over asking and the buyer agreed to our requirement to close in 90 days. Over the next 90 days Jim Shaw advised us on several nuances known more important than scheduling a Smoke Detectors Inspection by the Boston Fire Department. Jim Shaw then went above and beyond and schedule that appointment. While waiting for that Inspection, Jim advised us that we needed several new Smoke Detectors. Jim even picked them up for us!! Jim Shaw insured that we were ready for the buyers inspection, so we could close on schedule.
